Roy White Memorial Trophy - Youth Community Involvement Award
Guidelines
Introduction - The aim is to recognise and support young people who are involved in their Community or School - beyond that of their normal activities with School or Uniformed Organisations.
Eligibility -The award is open to all pupils who are in Years 7 or 8 at school.
Judging - This will be undertaken by a panel of three Lions, drawn from Clubs who have not taken part in the Award - the judging will be purely based on the written evidence presented to them.
What Are We Looking For
We are looking for young people who are involved in helping others within the wider Community in which they live - young people who are selfless in giving time to others - helping to improve the Community or the lives of others.
What Are We Giving
The young person will receive the Trophy for one year, together with a smaller replica. They will also receive a suitable token for £25 and also a cheque for their chosen charity of £100. Presented at our Convention.
